Yes, the squirrel monkeys at Monkeyhome are very friendly, harmless, and accustomed to human interaction. It is a wonderful and safe experience for the whole family.
There is moderate walking involved in the historic center of Puerto Plata, mostly on flat, paved streets and sidewalks around the main plaza and pedestrian streets.
Lunch is not included in the base price, but you can add a delicious lunch option for an extra charge. Bottled water is provided.
